Jessie Haver Butler's memoir is an enjoyable read about one woman's adventures as she navigated through the Suffragist movement. Her personal stories bring to life images of some of the challenges women faced and endured as they worked tirelessly for the right to vote. Jessie's stories are timeless and inspiring. You won't be disappointed.

Jan-Michelle Sawyer

History wasn't my favorite subject in school, but learning about another history-making person who made it possible for women to vote is worth reading this book. Much of the writing is from Jessie Haver Butler's "diaries". She includes so much of what she did on a daily basis that I felt like I knew her.

~ Margot

This was more interesting than I thought it would be. I had not heard of Jessie Butler until I read this book and it was a great peek into the history of this time and into this portion of suffrage.
